Is it a woman thing

Well is it me or is it a woman thing?

Do you know what I mean? When you go out of your way to try and please everyone, you actually please no-one! Everyone else gets over it. You spend the next few days upset, beating yourself up and a little voice in your head says 'well, that was a waste of time wasn't it' and 'how many times have I told you - think of yourself, not everyone else!'

Well this has happened to me recently - for goodness sake what am I saying?  It happens to me all the time!  Anyway on this particular occasion I huffed and puffed!  And yes, to be honest shed a tear or two,  and then here comes that little voice again 'stop being a poor you - learn your lesson, don't be so soft!'

So a brisk walk, hot chocolate at the Marine Cafe Milford on Sea and then a little pressie for myself in Marks and Spencer did the trick!

Yes I bought this lovely little jug of Campenula as a present for myself!  Isn't it pretty?  It was the last one on the shelf and when I was in the queue the man behind me asked me if he could have it! Now what do you think I said!?

On this occasion I listened to the little voice in my head and kept it for myself! :)

Oh and I put thank you on my picture to thank the little voice for making me see sense! :)
Actually......this would make quite a nice thank you card wouldn't it!

And own up if this happens to you too - might make me feel a little more normal!
